Worship on Sundays is at 9 AM followed by a time for Fellowship and Food. The Education Hour for all ages begins at 10:50 AM.
During Lent (beginning with Ash Wednesday and each of the 6 Wednesdays before Easter) and Advent (first Wednesday after Christ the King Sunday which is usually the first Wednesday in December) we have a light supper at 6:15 P.M. followed by Worship at 7:00 P.M. In Lent our worship services take on a meditative quality with “Holden Evening Prayer” or Holden's "Prayer Around The Cross."
Resurrection Sunday begins with a special Sunrise Service just as the day breaks (check time for sunrise.) The men in the congregation prepare a traditional breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, juice and coffee which is ready to enjoy around 7:45 A.M. Our Resurrection Worship begins at 9 A.M. in joyous celebration and song. This worship is followed by the Annual Egg Hunt for all children.
Our July Celebration (The Sunday closest to July 4th) is observed with an annual hamburger fry and homemade ice cream meal open to the community. This year's celebration will be Sunday, July 2nd at noon following the Education Hour.
Rural Sunday (Third Sunday in October) is a remembrance of our rural roots and worship is moved back to 10 A.M. We worship outside on hay bales and quilts enjoying and celebrating all of God's glorious creation. Members and guests are invited to dress casually or wear clothes from earlier time periods as did those who settled this area so long ago. Worship is followed by a delicious and plentiful Potluck luncheon, food, games, and entertainment. The community is invited!
Our Christmas Eve Christingle Worship Service with Candlelight and Holy Communion begins at 7 P.M. This is a time to stop in the midst of holiday preparations and come together to worship the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Christ Our Lord. Come and join us for a special time to connect with family, friends, and Our God!
